I am using IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2...
When I go to ebay portions of the pages show error messages

Usually "Page not found"

When I use ebay's turbo lister and try to upload anything I get an error
message "The servers name or address could not be resolved"

Ebay say ite an IE6 browser problem and I must contact microsoft
Well we all know that means expensive premium rate phonecalls

I have tried installing IE6 over it but it wont.
Windows update doesnt get me anywhere either

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Can anyone help

Use system restore or other backup software, go back to the point where
Internet explorer was A -OK, otherwise, have to isolate the exact error
message and then use knowledge base for the restoration or a complete
reinstall. Dumping system files and then reinstalling SP2 is an option too

I had something similar. I was told to try to replace the TCP/IP protocol
stack. I found "WinsockxpFix.exe" which automates the repair (resets TCP to
MS original configuration).
