Kevin

My internet explorer homepage was set to Yahoo.
Recently, everytime I reboot the homepage is set to this
autosearch page. I reset it to yahoo, run Ad-Adware,
Norton Antivirus, and go through my registry and delete
or change all the instances that the URL for the
autosearch page appears. But as soon as I reboot, the
autosearch page is back and all the registry changes are
gone. How do I stop this? Any help is appreciated.

Kevin,
Try these parasite removal programs in this order.

Download and run Run CWShredder from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Then download, install, *update* and run both of these programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items listed in red-others are
optional.)
Both programs should be updated after installation- before use.

If these programs don't remove the malware, HijackThis should be used to
post a log to the appropriate forum at one of these sites.
