Michael

I have the same problem as many others. I cannot use
IE6. I tried claening up files and set up - did not work.
I re-installed/repaired IE 6 as per Microsoft instructions
and it still does not work.

I have to use MSN explorer.

The IE Error Report generates a "appcompat.txt" file.
This can usually be found in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp\

Paste the contents (if found) in your next message.

I had a problem where IE6 would only allow me to send an error report, then freeze. To fix problem see the post below this from Mike Burgess. There is a web link there. Download and run the CWshredder 1.5 program. It has fixed my IE6 problem and now IE6 works. Before I used the CWshredder program I reinstalled windows XP and even tried to reinstall IE6, but that didn't fix the problem and only created new problems which took a long time to fix. So don't bother reinstalling anything cause it won't help. Just run the CWshredder program
