Internet Explorer-hangs on launch

I have a user that is having a problem with IE when she launches it. IE will
hang for about 3 minutes then allow browsing to proceed. This happens with
each instance of IE launching. IE is all updated so no patches are
available. I checked in the Event Viewer and found that after she installed
the IE SP1 and the security enhancements there was a consistent DCOM error
happening about 6 times a day.

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled
or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to
start the service EventSystem with arguments "" in order to run the server:

Any ideas?

Check the machine for Spyware/Adware or Browser Hyjacks.
