Internet Explorer Error WinXP Home with SP2

Hi,

I am constantly getting the following message "Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are soory for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on
might be lost."

In the log I get this :Faulting application rcbatsrv.exe, version 0.0.0.0,
faulting module , version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000.

I have tried a windows repair with no effect.

Any ideas??

It's probably adware. As a work around, you can download Firefox
(www.getfirefox.com). Also, I would go to www.lavasoft.com and
download Ad-Aware and run it.

Hi,

Just figured it out!! Ihad already scanned the pc with NAV2006, run MS
Antispyware,Ad-aware and spybot with no effect. After search the registry and
drive for "rcbatsrv.exe" and finding nothing, I decided to connect the drive
to our workshop pc and run a search from there! I found the file
rcbatserv.exe in a folder called "youearch" and deleted it.Problem Fixed:->
