Internet explorer doesn't work

hi..

my ie doesn't work! i cannot explore any folder in my
computer... can't even open the control panel to change
any setting... any folder i click will do nothing but a
blink on the screen... i can open my yahoo and MSN
messenger but it won't open my emails because i cannot get
the explorer to work.

what could be the problem?

i hope someone has encountered and corrected this....

Any error message when you try to open your control panel.

"ACCESS DENIED." message when you try to use the Control Panel.
Extract the file rundll32.exe from the your Windows CD.
It may have been changed by some parasites. Use SFC.EXE to extract the file.
 
nothing at all... when i click on the IE icon, the screen
just blinks one time then display the desktop again.
clicking on "My computer" or any "folder" on my desktop
generates the same result.
