Internet Explorer does not recognize .exe extension in downloads, if there are more url parmeters

Hi,

i have the following problem:
the internet explorer does not recognize the exe extension in
downloads, if there are url parameters. All other extensions works
fine.
For Example:
This Url works:
http://www.mariacallas.de/flash/MariaCallas.exe
The Save Dialog Box of the Internet Explorer shows the correct
filename: MariaCallas.exe

This Url does not work correct:
http://www.mariacallas.de/flash/MariaCallas.exe?parm=1
The Save Dialog Box of the Internet Explorer shows the filename
without the extension: MariaCallas

Is there a fix for this problem?

Probably quick just to do the following:

When you click the link, save as, then just ammend the file name to name.exe
and also ammend the save as type to all files.
