Some program has set my default page in Internet Explorer
(XP). I reset the page and this works while the machine
is up and running. When I reboot the page is changed
again. I have run spybot and spyblaster. Any Ideas?

I have the same problem. Hopefully someone out there
knows how to fix it. Try what i am doing right now to keep
it from happening in the future. Check for windows updates
in help and support. It is located in your start menu.

You need to check what's running at startup. See www.dougknox.com, Win XP
Utilities, Startup Programs Tracker. This small utility scans your system
for startup programs and running processes. It also allows you to create a
log file that can be copied and pasted into a newsgroup post. The contents
of the program window are also copied to the Windows Clipboard,
automatically.

For the purposes of a newsgroup reply, its usually not necessary to include
the list of running services.
