Internet Explorer Crashes

I have Windows XP system with IE6. IE in my machine stopped working
mysteriously. I can open IE. But if try to access any URL it is
crashes. There is no information whatsoever. The IE exe just dies. Has
anybody faced the same problem? Any ideas...
 
I have the same problem. seems to have happened overnight.
I have checked all updates but keep getting a message that
my proxy settings are incorrect whenever I try to update
using the setup icon.

Have no problems connecting to the net and using Netscape
though.

Any ideas?
