IE Crash Detection - what is it?

An Adobe.com page - Products/Contribute causes something called IE
Crash Detection and shuts down IE6 - every time. Other site pages OK.
Same page with FireFox - just fine.
XP system with SP2 and all current updates.
Can I shut off IE Crash Detection? Can I configure it - if so, how?
Any other suggestions or info about IE Crash Detection? Thanks.

What is the exact message? To be honest, it sounds to me like a malware
infection.
