Internet Explorer Crashes

Iam having a problem with IE, When I click on the IE icon
the program tries to load, but fail until the third or
forth attempt.
I have cleared the history and the cache, and dumped
all the temp. files, also I Upgraded to IE 6, but nothing
has worked so far.
