Internet Explorer Closes during Screensaver

Recently been experiencing problems with Internet Explorer windows closing when
the screensaver comes on. This is happening at a global corporate level. We have
a GPO that enables the screensaver (simple Windows XP logo) with password
protect. When the screensaver starts, all IE windows closes. No error. This
appeared after releasing WMF patch last week via WSUS. Anyone else experience
this type of problem? Is it just a coincidence of the WMF patch? Please advise.

You might want to post to the windows update newsgroup. They have been
dealing with issues related to the WMF patch.
