Internet Explorer being Run in Compatibility Mode

Can anyone help me.

When I use Internet Explorer, I get a message:

Internet Explorer in Compatibility Mode
This is being run in Compatibility Mode and not all
features are enabled.

I also have an error message from my Windows XP,
RUNDLL
c:\windows\image.dll
The Specific Module could not be found

Are these two problems/prompts related?

Help
Thank You kindly
