Internet Explorer 8 Beta and Outlook 2002 Inbox view

I just downloaded IE 8 Beta. My Inbox now has a one inch border of unused
white space around it. The preview pane whether on or off does not affect it.
The preview pane is also performing correctly. Is there a way to rid the
white space?
