I don't usually complain but if i had known that IE7 was part of the last
update on my laptop I would have not allowed it to happen. IE7 is TERRIBLE
tabs who needs tabs Nav. This should be option clearly stated what it is and
not slipped in like something has to be secured.

It's hard to understand why you don't like tab browsing - it' very nice. It
is was one of the big gripes about IE before version 7 - the lack of tab
browsing.

You should take control of your system and not just blindly install updates.
Check on what is going to be installed before it's done and make the
decision what you want. Set auto updates to alert you to updates but don't
download or install until you approve. Better yet turn off auto updates and
check on the windows update site a couple of times a month using the custom
install option to see what is being offered, then research what is offered
and make an informed decision. Most updates come once a month on the second
Tuesday of the month.

Totally agree with Rock, Tabs are Terrific, if you are shopping on the net
and you want to compare prices with two or a dozen suppliers then you just
switch between tabs instead of have two or a dozen versions of IE open at the
same time, saves heaps on memory wastage and time.
Also with the downloads he is right, set the updates to notify you but not
install anything, then you can make the decision what you download, Also go
to Control panel and select security center then go to the left panel and
select "Change the way security center alerts me" untick the 3 boxes and you
can then select the security updates yourself and you won't keep getting that
annoying shield telling you that updates is disabled.
I wouldn't dowload an update for at least a month, until others have used
them and found the bugs (if any)
