Internet Explorer 7 won't play online video

Hi,
I have Windows Vista/Internet Explorer 7 when I am on the Internet and when
I click on any video to play it, you would expect Windows Media player to
open and play that video it but it will not. I do have Nero 7 installed
so I don't know if that is the problem? How do I get Internet Explorer and or
Windows Media player to play online videos when I click on them? I have
already set Windows Media Player and Internet Explorer to be all defaults for
every thing they can play but that didn't work either. Now when I click on a
video link I get a pop up saying: Phising filter can not check this page
microsoft temp unavailable. How do I get video links to play for me?

Vista sometimes has a glitch where even though the default programs are
selected, you have to reset them. Go into the default programs utility and
change the program for the file type (i.e. .wmv) and actually navigate to the
Windows Media Player.exe in program files. This should allow it to recognize
the file type as associated with WMP. I had the same problem where it would
just attempt to either download the video or error. Unfortunately I needed to
do this for each extension. Hopefully this helps.

In Windows Internet Explorer 7, go to the Tools menu, select Phishing
Filter, and then click Phishing Filter Settings. In the dialog box that
appears, under Phishing Filter, select Disable Phishing Filter.

In Windows Live Toolbar, go to the toolbar menu and click Toolbar Options…
Click OneCare Advisor in the list on the left and then clear the Turn on
Microsoft Phishing Filter box.
