internet explorer 6

Hi,
I am using xp professional at home. After running windows update,
there was an update for Internet explorer 6. I tried to update it .
But a box opened up and stated - You already have the most recent
version of Internet explorer.
under Help about explorer I read this:
version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
cipher strength:128
product id:ect...
update versions:sp1;q810847;q813951;Q813489;
Q330994;Q818529;Q822925;Q828750;Q824145

then in the box below that-it reads-

You can uninstall your SP2 and then download the most recent one.
You will lose the functions of any programs installed since.
My version is 6.0.2900.2149.xpsp_sp2_rc2.040610-1520
Which is the beta SP2RC2. The final release will be issued soon.
