Internet Explorer 6 Problems

I had recently changed my homepage to www.msn.co.uk, whenever I open Internet Explorer the homepage is res://ivwtb.dll/index.html#37049. This keeps happening. It also takes time to close the window for Internet Explorer when I open the task manager to see the processes, INTERNET EXPLORER.EXE is well over 12,000K, dont know if that makes a difference. My desktop also freezes when this occurs. I would be very grateful if some could help me. These problems had happened after spyware was removed from my PC.

Double check for trojans, adware and spyware. Use these sites. You are
probably still infected/

Sneaky little trickware...

All Spyware Hunter will do is scan the system and will not remove any
problems unless you purchase the full product. Since they never tell you
this until AFTER you install and use it I don't trust it OR it's
results. I've run it on a clean system and it throws out a bunch of
false positives aparenlty in a effort to scare you into buying it. Use
the good free stuff like Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, CWShredder and HijackThis.
