Internet Explorer 6 flys off screen when opened...

I just installed Windows XP Home Edition as an upgrade
from Windows ME and when I open Internet Explorer 6, the
window flies off screen to the right, so I cannot see it.
I cannot click and drag it over and it appears to be a
multiple monitor issue. I have tried to reset resolution,
everything I can think of. No luck.

Also, some window programs open too wide and I must
scroll left to view entire page.

I can open Internet Explort from My Computer, which is
laborious. Any ideas anyone?

First, check to see if you can manually bring the window back onto your
display area. Open Internet Explorer. While it is not visible, do this:

- hit Alt and then Space
- hit M
- hit an arrow key
- move your mouse around, or use your arrow keys

Are you able to bring the window back?

Also check Display Properties \ Settings tab to see if you have multimon
configured.
