Hi! Uninstalled IE 7 and went back to IE 6. Now cannot log in to my home
page. My internet provider said problem is with Internet Explorer. When
trying to log in, I get message at bottom left-hand side of screen that says
"Error on page". Need some help. Thanks! p.s. Am not very computer
literate.

You should post your question in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend
some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently.

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you
now. ;-)

Dial-up DSL or cable? In IE check Tools > Internet Options > Connections
and then LAN settings make sure auto detect is checked if you're using
DSL or cable. I seem to remember a post indicating that this setting gets
changed when you roll back to IE6.

You are apparently not using Microsoft's news server, msnews.microsoft.com.
Switch to that (or add it) and you'll find it.
