Internet explorer 6.0

My sister is having problems with internet explorer.
Everytime it is clicked on a message appears "IE has
encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the
inconvenience" Op System is Xp, internet connection-
broadband and working fine beacuse msn messenger works ok.
She tried to recover the computer back to when it was
working ok and this failed to solve the problem.
Reinstallation after uninstallation didn't work either. If
anyone can help I't would be great, for i have heard that
many are having the same problem.

If CWShredder doesn't fix it, use the Internet Options applet in Control
Panel to change the Home Page to About:Blank
