Internet Explorer 6.0 crashes when I try to type in address field.

Hi,

I'm running Windows XP, and when I try to type an address
into the address field, I get a message that IE has made
an error and needs to close. However, if I click on a
link, I go right to it. This happened after I installed a
PCI WIFI card. The hardware works just fine, but there
seems to be a software problem.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? (Previously
I was on a dial up line on AOL. I now have a cable modem).
