Internet Explorer 6.0.28 Games Problem

Trying to play some of the games at zone.com, specifically TextTwist when I
click on "Play Now" the game begins to load then the entire browser shuts
down.

Have tried downloading IE6 again but a message tells me I have a newer
version than the download and then it aborts.

Loaded the latest DirectX, no change.

Any suggestions?
