Internet explorer 2nd page won't open

When I browse internet explorer 6 ver, I'm on Win Xp home
edition, goes to the homesite, and works fine, if I open a
new window that works fine too, but from one page if I
click any hyperlink, it opens a second page, but it will be
frozen forever, there won't be any message or anything,
it'll be just frozen, the only way to eliminate is to close
that window, any ideas to beat this ? I've anti-virus already.
