Internet E-mail-MSN error message

I get an error message "Internet E-mail-MSN. Please enter your name and
password for the following server."
I enter my name and password and error message disappears for a few seconds
then reappears.

Any ideas on how to get this error message to stop?

Hm... I might missunderstand this issue, but normally, this means that the
username/password is incorrect, so; are you sure that your Hotmail account
works if you logon via www.hotmail.com? Are you sure that the hotmail
information in is correct within MS Outlook? Try to setup a new account for
it with in Outlook as well and discard your old settings. Also try with new
Outlook profile which only contains this Hotmail account.

I am pretty sure it is an Outlook problem. I can access my account going by
through www. hotmail.com or my MSN software. (I have MSN premium through my
ISP, Verizon).
Outlook will not sync my E-mail messages at all.
