I tried that but my son evidently found the setting and turned it back on
again.
If you are running Zone Alarm, go to Privacy- Mobile Code control and click
the circle next to on. Then hit the advanced button and turn off the
javascripting. I normally use this configuration while surfing just to play
it safe and have noticed that I usually have to turn it off to download
anything. He probably won't find this setting anytime soon.

Try a little displine. He should have been taught that it's not right
for him to download things on your computer. You wouldn't paint your
neighbors car without his permission would you?

Tell him that when he buys his own computer, he can download to his
hearts content. Its not Windows job to raise your kids or teach them
right from wrong.
