Internet Connectivity Question

Hi,

I have a company laptop with XP Professional. It is setup to log onto the
company network. I want to be able to bring it home where I have broadband.
What are your reccomendations on how I can accomplish this. Do I need to
setup a new account to sign on locally on the computer in which I setup the
settings? What I really want to know is what others do when they need to
have different settings (network or home)?

I recommend you ask you Company IT department. It does belong to them
after all. They may not take kindly to you changing any
configurations on it; I know I take a dark view of my users who do
that.
