internet connection

I have a Limited or no connectivy error shown in the right hand corner of my
screen when I connect to the internet. I downloaded the patch KB884020 and
this has allowed me to connect to my DSL.

Why is this limited or no connectivy error still showing along with my
connection?

This usually happens when a connection to a wireless
access point is established but your PC's IP address
does not agree with the IP address range configured
on the access point.
