Hi,
Am facing a strange problem with my net connection at home (LAN).Everything
looks ok but am able to go to homepage of sites for few seconds and then
subsequent clicks on the pages lead to page not found...ie I can ping
www.yahoo.com sometimes initially and not on others.When I scanned my system
using Network Diagnostics, it showed failed at Network Adapters with
following details:any idea what could be going wrong
FAILED
[00000001] Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller (FAILED)

DHCPServer = 10.1.127.10 (FAILED)
Pinging 10.1.127.10 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Destination host unreachable.
Request timed out.
Ping statistics for 10.1.127.10:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 1, Lost = 3 (75% loss)

Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

I had a similar thing happen a couple of weeks ago to a Dell Optiplex SX280.
Dell replaced the motherboard and now it works. If your system is a Dell
then you may want to contact them.
