I have a sony viao laptop computer running Win XP home
edition. I've configured my laptop to connect to a
wireless router at my home and have a connection to the
Internet that works fine, using this wireless connection.

I'd like to also have the option to connect to the
internet at my office using a regular ethernet
connection. Right now, each time I switch environments
from home to my office location, I'm not able to connect
to the internet auttomatically--- I have to re-run the
WinXP nework configuration wizard and then it seems to
make the switch for me, so that the ethernet connection
works.

Is there a way that I can have both the ethernet
connection and the wireless connection set to be able to
access the internet with whichever connection is
available (wireless or ethernet) without having to re-
configure my network configuration.

Thanks in advance.

Bill,

These third party programs let you store multiple network configurations and
switch between them easily:

NetSwitcher

MultiNetwork Manager

Mobile Net Switch
