Internet Connection Wizard conatant

We have some W2K machines on campus which are constantly runing the Internet
Connection Wizard since the last set of updates. We answer all questions
properly, but the next time the user logs in, up pops the
wizard. Ideas?

Try this:

Open the registry editor & navigate to the following keys:

User:
-----

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control
Panel

System:
--------

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control
Panel

Create a new DWORD called 'Connection Wizard' (without quotes)

Value:

1 = Disable the Internet Connection Wizard <--- you need this option
0 = Enable the Internet Connection Wizard
