The Old Timer

If you press CTRL.ALT,DEL you are given a list of all the programs
currently running on your PC. Is there any equivalent utility that you
can get that will tell you the same things about your Internet
connection? It might tell you for instance that you are downloading
your anti virus updates, retrieving emails & getting a windows update at
the current moment.
