Does anyone know why windows xp home and pro don't stay connected for
more than 1 hour on my dsl connection? I have to use my browser every
hour to stay connected, otherwise I have to restart my computer. This
not an issue with my ISP as windows 2000 does not disconnect. Any help
would be appreciated. Tia

Try opening device mgr, expand the network icon tree,R.click, select update
driver, close out when thru.Next open internet connections,L.click the icon,
then in the L.sub menu select "repair this connection" .Also,in internet
connections,properties,uninstall or disable packet scheduler.
