I have successfully configured a WinXP SP2 Home Edition machine to share a
ADSL Connection (on a USB modem) to be shared with a Win98 machine.
Both machines are running Outpost Firewall (Free Version), and the ICS will
only work fully when the Outpost Firewall on WinXP machine has policy set to
"Allow most", when I set to "rules wizard", then ICS does not work (I can
ping a machine and use DNS but cannot establish a HTTP connection from IE or
telnet even) on the Win98 Machine. Note NetBIOS is already enabled for the
DHCP IP range for the Win98 machine as well as 255.255.255.* Any ideas how
I can get Outpost more secure (using the rules wizard as opposed to "Allow
most") and yet allow ICS to work fully?
