Internet connection sharing without dhcp

I have activated internet connection sharing in my win2000 professional, with a
USR wireless card and a lan card.

It works fine, unfortunately win2000 force me to use dhcp to assign ip numbers
for clients.
If I set a fixed ip address the internet sharing don't work.

There are a way to use fixed ip address ?

thank you !

Fixed IP addresses work just fine with ICS s long as your settings are
correct. Just do an "ipconfig /all" from the command line and note the
settings, usually:

IP Address: 192.168.0.x

Note the DNS settings from IP config.

If you plug the same numbers in manually, it will work.
