internet connection sharing not available?

Hello, I`m trying to turn on "internet connection sharing" ICS, but when I
goto, control panel/Network and Internet Connections/Network Connections,
right click on my lan high speed internet/properties/advanced tab, theres no
ICS option.The Firewall option is there but the rest of the box is blank
apart from the network setup wizard at the bottom.
Anybody know how to get the ICS option back?

Are you sure your selecting your "Internet" connection? On my PC I have ICS
enabled, and in order to select ICS I goto the properties of my internet
connection under "Dial Up" in Network Connections.

Hi Sebastion,
In network connections I Only have "lan - high speed
internet" to choose, no dial-up to select!!!

Have you got your internet setup? I.e Have you actualy got an internet
connection setup on the PC your trying to setup ICS on.

Otherwise, if you have got an internet connection it maybe setup under "1394
Connection" which sould appear under "LAN or High-Speed Internet". Right
click on this, select "Properties", select the "Advanced" tab... and this is
where your options for ICS should be.

Hi sebastian,
yes I have an internet connection its the pc Im on now,
the problem I have is that...................................... under "LAN
or High-Speed Internet" "Properties" "Advanced tab" theres no ICS option.
Thats why I posted and I need to know how to get this option back.

I`m really really stuck, if you cant help do you know where i could find
help? apart from this site I`ve also tried "The tech guy" and The official
Xbox site but no joy.
