Internet Connection Sharing and Firewall Component

Hi.

I'm building an image where there's a need for firewall
protection, but I don't need the Internet Connection
Sharing. How can I configure this component so that only
the Firewall is activated? Also how can I configure the
Firewall regarding opening of ports. Most of the trafic
will be initiated by the computer running the image, but
I also need one or more ports to be open for unsolicited
requests.

ICF service manages firewall and connection sharing, but using one of
them or both togheter depends by interface configuration. You can
configure your interface(s) to use only firewall feature.

Configuration (and setting open ports too) could be done by the ICF api.
Launch a search on MSDN about this topic and you'll get full of examples.
You can use ICF api from vbs/js too.
