Internet Connection password

I recently changed the user on an XP machine. I set up the internet
connection using the userid and passwords assigned by the ISP. When the new
user tries to logon to the net, the userid defaults correctly but the
password defaults to something I didn't set up. She can change the password
and get online fine but I would like the program to default to the password
I set up. Any suggestions?

Are you basing 'it defaults to something I didn't set up' on the number
of *s shown in the password box, because that bears no relation to the
length of the actual password that's stored in there. Or are you basing
it on 'the logon fails'?
