internet connection after blaster patch

My notebook will not recognize a connection to the
internet since I downloaded the blaster patch. I have a
wireless card and it has a great signal but want connect.
I tried to connect directly to my my cable moduem still no
connection. Help

Hi Mike,

Can you restore your computer to an earlier time? If you
can, do it and re-install the patch. Before you install
the patch, disable all the network connections.
