internet conection dropped after 15-20mins from start up

iv got a pc connected to a router (wired) and it will only connect to the
internet for about 15-20 mins from start up then after that no web pages will
loads, the router is still working as i have more computers and laptops
running off of it fine, i have also tried to connect it wirelessly but this
has the same problem, had an idea that it may be due to norton antivirus
software but this has been uninstalled and now there is no antivirus software
on the pc.
any help would be apprieciated thanks .

usually if there is no response & the system is idle
then it automatically drops the connection.
