Internet Cache Files

When I attempt to delete files in the browser cache -- I
hit the "Delete Files..." button in the Tools/Internet
Options menu -- I get stuck with the spinning hourglass
for as long as I'm willing to wait. Eventually, I give
up, and force quit Explorer from the task manager. Any
advice?

check size of temp internet files directory.
press settings button and change size to 1-5 mb.

If TIF is set really large (over 50 MB), deleting the files can take well
over an hour.
