Internet Access

Laser

I have 6 computers (XP-Pro) connected together in a simple P to P network
and connect to the internet through a NetGear router/switch. Is there any
way that I can I give internet access to only three computers but still let
all 6 share files?

Hi, Mike -

I'd configure this at the router - give the three
machines you don't want to have Internet access
consecutive static IP addresses and configure the router
to deny Internet services to that address range. Your
router manual has this information - it's also on
Netgear's website.
