I can't access the internet from a link in my email message, anyone know why?
The error message says "General failure: The URL was (the url in my email
message) Application not found."

I have help for you, and it's right in help topics under the Troubleshooting
for e-mail messages. It's this:

The destination (destination: General term for the name of the element you
go to from a hyperlink.) may have been entered incorrectly. Make sure that
the hyperlink destination is correct.
The destination file might have moved or might not exist anymore. Verify
that the file exists. If it is on the Internet, search for it in your Web
browser. If it is on your hard disk or on a network, search for it in
Microsoft Windows Explorer.
You may not have access to the destination file. If it is on the Internet,
make sure you have a connection to the Internet. If it is on a network,
contact your administrator to ensure that you have access to the network.

Hope this helps.

Reset your favorite browser to be the default.
Instructions depend on which version of Windows you are using and your
favorite browser.
