Hi,would you please tell me what CHAR and REPT stand for respectively?Then I
can give you their Simplified Chinese version.

I said to use Formula or FormulaR1C1, not any formula with LOCAL included in
the name

Range("a1").formula="=rept(char(150),3)"

should work fine.
