INTERNAL ERROR "WINWORD"

laser printer was printing fine. then i reconnected my
inkjet printer/scanner which used to work just fine.

now as soon as i press PRINT, i get box with red "x" with
WINWORD in top banner line, and message "This program has
performed an illegal operation....." so i rebooted,
didn't help. i unpluged first one printer, rebooted, then
the other printer, rebooted, but each time i press PRINT
i still immediately get the same box informing me of an
illegal operation.

try updating the drivers for your printer.

Also this is an MS Word issue and should be posted in MS Office
groups.

Additionally it would be helpful to know more details (type of
PC, CPU, RAM etc ... service pack level are you running Windows
2000 or Windwos XP? ) ... what make and model printer are you
using ? Is it a parallel port or a USB model ? etc
