Hello. I have a Windows XP snag during start-up of my pc. I recently removed
Corel Photo Album 6 from my package provided with purchase of my system. I
subsequently had to remove the remainder via the Search option of the
Start-Up menu and the System Registry. When my pc deskstop starts up, a
window pops up, asking me to insert the CD-ROM for the said Corel program. I
have to press "Cancel" numerous times to cancel the application. Eh time I
receivee an Internal Error 2718 window warning. How do I remove Corel from my
Desktop start-up. I tried to follow the command prompt C:\ for install
removal of the program, to no avail (spacing and/or punctuation may be an
issue here). Thanks.

Hi Blue,
Try this:
Open a run command and type in:
msconfig click [OK] on the system configuration window click on
StartUpTab and uncheck the line for Corel.
When you uninstalled the Corel PH did uninstall from Control Panel >>
Add/Remove Programs?.
Open Windows Explorer and locate this path:
C:\Documents and Settings\Local User\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp = locate
the corel and delete.
Or:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Corel delete it
HTH.
