application error

i received this message when opening corel wordperfect
c:/corel/suite8/programs/wpwin 8.exe, generated an application error. the
error occured on 3/07/05. the exception generated was 80000007 at address
0000000 (ntdll!kifastsystemcallret)

can anyone tell me how to fix this and open corel wordperfect? thanks

Have you tried removing and reinstalling Word Perfect? Have you check the
Corel website for any updates and to make sure your version is compatible
with XP? If this is a recent issue, you might try using System Restore to
take you back to a time prior to when this began. Start\All
Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
