Internal Card Readers

Does anyone here have something like this:

I am considering getting one to put on to PC A because there is no USB/Firewire ports on the Chiftech Tower.

Got any other links to get a cheaper one?

I did buy one before a while back but it did not seem to work. Is it true if you get the usb connectors wrong it can damage the motherboard or other devices?
