internal card reader

hi i have just added a seitec internal 7/1 card reader on win xp installed all the drivers works fine untill i switch the pc of and then will not but still shows all the reader slots on pc and drivers still there if i uninstall and re install works fine any ideas why thanks

It would be easier to understand your problem if you used
sentences.
Did you intend to say, "Hi, I have just added a Seitec
internal 7/1 card reader. [It uses USB {1.1}{2.0} and is
connected to the mobo directly] or [It is connected to a PCI
card}.
Windows XP installed the drivers automatically and it works
fine until I turn the computer OFF. [You'll need to jump
back in here, "of and then will not but still shows" is
hard to guess what and where.] Do you mean to say the slots
still show as drives in My Computer?

You should say your motherboard make and model, whether you
have tried any support from Seitec, how did you uninstall,
using add/remove hardware from the control panel or the
device manager? Did you try any troubleshooting with the
device manager?
