Intermittent access denied messages accessing network shares

I have a user on a windows xp pro machine trying to access network shares via
drive mappings. Intermittently he gets an access is denied message when he
tries to access any of the drive mappings. This also happens when we try
through my network places. This problem only started today, this has not
been a problem previously. This user's network account is a member of the
domain admins group. Have tried recreating his local profile (as this
problem doesn't seem to happen to other accounts on this computer and he
doesn't have this problem when logged onto another computer) and recreating
the computer account.

DC is a windows 2000 server.

Thanks

Robyn

Have you considered the possibility that you have a physical network
problem? Bad network card, bad cabling, or a bad switch on a hub or router?

I'll check it out although this problem doesn't appear to be happening to
other users on the same computer.
